Sr. Connections to add satellite in La Grange soon
“Two for the price of one” – Weimar Mayor Carlton Tucker (left) addressed members in Weimar, introducing himself and providing an update on issues that concern Weimar citizens. Former Mayor Milton Kohler (right), who also happens to be on the Senior Connections board and a volunteer, was present that day, too.
Chicken Fried Pork was on the menu recently – a new item from Connie Koopmann and Koopmann Catering. The meal was paired with buttered noodles and house salad topped with seasonal fruit and secret dressing.
Senior Connections is so excited to set the date for opening its third satellite – this satellite will open in La Grange on Aug. 5 and will be open on Wednesdays.
The La Grange satellite will have the same schedule as the other locations, with doors open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will include a nutritious home-cooked meal after a morning of fun board games, hot coffee and camaraderie. Members will…
