Firefighters had a busy day last Tuesday, Sept. 8 with three different calls within a period of just over six hours.
Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reported that dispatchers received several 911 calls around 10:51 a.m. on an 18-wheeler on fire near the 658 mile marker of Interstate 10 westbound. Flatonia Fire & Rescue was notified and responded to the scene west of the Flatonia exit. Mutu…
