The City of Schulenburg and Schulenburg ISD will not have to conduct elections on May 1 since all the candidates who filed for open positions are unopposed.
With the filing period ending on Friday, Feb. 12 for both elections, the following had submitted their candidacy:
• City Alderman, Place 1 – Greg “Wolf” Thomas;
• City Alderman, Place 2 – Wendy Fietsam (incumbent);
• City Mayor – Elaine…
