Judith Prinster Edwards, 79, formerly of Schulenburg, passed away at her home in Fulshear on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 2:15 a.m.
The funeral was set for Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Rosary was recited on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 7 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
Born on Oct. 8, 1941 at Josephville, Mo., she was the daughter of Edward and Hedwig (Sommer) Hancock. On July 19, 1991, she married Lew Edwards at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Houston. She was a homemaker and member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lew Edwards; two daughters, Vicki Prinster Ehlers of Ocala, Fla., and Elizabeth Edwards of College Station; two sons, Ed Prinster of Katy and Patrick Prinster Edwards of Austin; three stepsons, Scott Edwards of Onalaska, Steve Edwards and wife Toni of Pearland, and Mike Edwards and wife Velous of Onalaska; two sisters, Margie Prinster and husband Al of Bakersfield, Calif., and Alice Klusak and husband Lou of Morris, Ill.; three brothers, Ed Hancock and wife Kathy of Frankfort, Kentucky, Bill Hancock and wife Jan of Wetumpka, Alabama, and Dennis Hancock and wife Christine of Fenton, Missouri; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Edward and Hedwig Hancock; husband, Don Prinster; and brother, Jack Hancock.
Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
