The UIL Lone Star Cup, sponsored by Texas Farm Bureau Insurance, is awarded annually to six high schools based on their team performances in district and state championships in sports, academics, marching band, one-act play and other events. The winning schools receive the UIL Lone Star Cup trophy and a $1,000 scholarship.
