Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reported that the murder trial of Dylan Nelson took place from Sept. 20-24 with the jury convicting the 25-year-old defendant.
Nelson was found guilty of the 2017 murder of 43-year-old Jeremy Cornwell of La Grange. He was given a life sentence and assessed a $10,000 fine by the jury.
