John C. Landa Jr., “The Schulenbirder,” said he did some great birding at sunrise on Sunday morning, Oct. 3. He sends three photos, all taken southwest of Schulenburg: a red-tailed hawk (top); a pair of storks (middle); and a pair of scissor-tailed flycatchers (bottom). Landa can be found on Twitter, @Schulenbirder.
