Elizabeth Marie (Langhamer) Kotrola passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021 at the age of 90. She was born in Schulenburg on April 17, 1931 to John and Pauline Langhamer. She was married to Jerry H. Kotrola (deceased, 2012) for 56 years.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Tindall (Steve), Mark Kotrola (Roxanne), Perry Kotrola (Jennifer), Pam Kelley (Allen) and Pat Kotrola (Lucia, deceased); 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; her brother-in-law, Frank Kotrla; and her beloved dog, Pokey.
Elizabeth was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many (as she never met a stranger). She worked in the food service industry for many years. She enjoyed quilting with her friends at St. Joan of Arc in Kirby. In recent years, she was a faithful member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. She enjoyed league bowling, but most of all she enjoyed family gatherings, casino trips and traveling abroad. She will be dearly missed.
