Fayette County constables will start security duties at the Courthouse and associated County office buildings in La Grange at the beginning of January.
The Commissioners Court, at its meeting on Dec. 22, approved a minimum of 208 hours per year and compensation of $5,000. If additional shifts are needed, they will be added with the approval of the Commissioners Court.
