Agreement approved for County to coordinate city, school elections
Dr. Ackrell introduced Dr. Mark Ackrell, the medical director for Fayette County EMS, was introduced to the Fayette County Commissioners Court during public comment on Thursday, Jan. 27. Dr. Ackrell became the medical director for Fayette County EMS some months ago. He is a board certified physician in emergency medical services and is also an emergency room physician in the Austin area.
The Fayette County Commissioners Court approved entering into a joint election agreement with local political subdivisions for the May 7 election at the regular meeting on Thursday, Jan. 27.
On May 7, a special constitutional amendment election will be held statewide with two propositions on the ballot.
