Betty Ann (Supak) Schilhab, 77, of Plum, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021.

Betty was born in Smithville on Sept. 22, 1943 the daughter of Edward and Louise (Jakobeit) Supak. Betty married Alfons “Boots” Schilhab on July 7, 1962 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Plum. She worked as a waitress for over 30 years. She was a longtime member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Plum. Betty loved cooking and gardening and her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandbabies.

She is survived by daughter, Barbara Genzer and husband Mark of La Grange; son, William Schilhab and wife Brenda of Fayetteville; brother, Douglas Supak and wife Polly of La Grange; four grandchildren, Kacie and Harley Genzer and Derek and Brittany Schilhab; and two great-grandchildren, Jayce Helmcamp and Caleb Youngblood Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Boots, who passed away on Sept. 20, 1998; and her four-legged companion, Holly Marie.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations in La Grange. Family received friends from 4 to 7 p.m. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m.

Funeral services were held at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Plum at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021. Burial followed at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 126 Plum Church Rd., Plum, TX 78950, Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter, 240 Svoboda Ln, La Grange, TX 78945; or to a charity of one’s choice.
