Blake Clifton Rhoden

Blake Clifton Rhoden of Weimar passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025, at the age of 71.

He was born on Nov.13, 1953 in Houston to Lucile and Clifton Rhoden. The second son of the family, he graduated from Lamar High School. He married Denise Lev of Rosenberg on March 3, 1979. Blake and Denise had two incredible sons, who will survive him. Blake went to work for Chevron, retiring after 34 years of dedication. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and was deeply loved by his family and all who knew him, especially his grandson, Kelton Paul. Blake enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons. He especially enjoyed coaching and watching both his sons play baseball. During his later years, the light of Blake’s life was grandson Kelton Paul. Blake was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucile and Clifton Rhoden and in-laws, Johnnie and Doris Lev.

Blake is survived by his loving wife, Denise; sons, Nicholas and wife Catherine, and Chad and wife Kasey; grandson, Kelton Paul; brother George and wife Libby; sister-in-law, Marsha Garcia and brother-in-law Joe; sister-in-law Cindy Manning and brother-in-law Dale; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg.
