Estella Marie Krischke

Estella Marie Krischke of Houston passed away to be with our Lord on Monday, July 13 after a brief illness.

She was born to Felix and Adelheid (Kunz) Krischke on June 11, 1933 in the Freyburg area. Estella was the seventh of nine children, growing up on the family farm. She worked and lived in Houston all of her adult life.

Private funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church High Hill at a later date. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery High Hill.

Survivors include sisters, Marie (Krischke) Fajkus and Henrietta (Krischke) Konarik Mueck, both of Schulenburg; nieces, Carol Rose-Coss, Joyce Trudo, Patricia Griste, Kathleen Svatek, Debbie Broun, Grace Lebeda, Phyllis Valchar, Theresa Krecmer, Catherine Marek, Ruth Steffek, Sarah Oertli, Kim Bohlmann and Jana Blaschke; and nephews, Robert Fajkus, Larry Fajkus, Dennis Muras, James Anderle and Darren Florus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Mathilda Rose, Elizabeth Krischke, Rudy Krischke, Frances Anderle, Janet Muras and Joe Krischke; and nephew, Mark Anderle.

The family requests donations be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church High Hill Cemetery Fund or a charity of one’s choice.
