HENRY PAULER
Henry Frank Pauler, 95, of Schulenburg, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024.
Henry was born on May 22, 1929, in the Old Kinkler Community in Lavaca County to parents Frank and Agnes (Schillab) Pauler. Henry married Evelyn Schroeder on Aug. 31, 1950, in Schulenburg. Henry attended St. Rose Catholic School in Schulenburg, and the St. John Catholic School in St. John. He worked for local service stations, grocery stores and Double B Foods until he retired in 1996. He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Schulenburg.
He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Evelyn Pauler; daughter, Sharon Schaefer; son, Harvey Pauler and his wife Susan; son, Gary Pauler; grandchildren, Jeff, David, Kari, Justin, Jonathan, Kyle and Kathryn; 12 greatgrandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Agnes Hertel, Martha Sommer, Edna Skypala and Emma Schley; brother-in-law, Audrey Schroeder; and son-in-law, Eugene Schaefer.
Pallbearers were Calvin Sommer, Jonathan Pauler, Justin Pauler, Christopher Simpson, David Schaefer and Hymie Duarte. Kyle Cordes served as honorary pallbearer.

Funeral services for Henry Frank Pauler will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg with the Rev. Jerry Evins officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel and interment will follow in the Schulenburg City Cemetery.
