Isiah Gonzales

Isiah Gonzales was born on Sept. 15, 1994 in Eagle Lake. Isiah was baptized on July 20, 2020. He graduated from Schulenburg High School in 2013. Isiah loved superheroes, fast cars and motorcycles, and watching WWE, but most importantly he loved his family and brought everyone together. Isiah will forever be remembered for his immeasurable strength.

Isiah is the son of Bernardo Sr. and Maria Gonzales. He is survived by one brother, Bernardo Gonzales, Jr., and four sisters, Connie Gonzales and fiancé Elias Juarez Jr., Veronica Voigt and husband James, Judy Thompson and husband Calvin, and Esmeralda Gonzales, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The funeral services were held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 9:15 a.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home. Pallbearers included Bernardo Gonzales Jr., James Charles Voigt, Elias Juarez Jr., Calvin Thompson Sr., D’Keenan Ray Thompson, Calvin Thompson Jr., Salvador Flores and Garret Horner, and honorary pallbearer was Cristian Isiah Voigt. Interment followed at Ammannsville Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Gonzales family to help defray the cost of the funeral.
