Kenneth Joseph Narendorf of San Antonio passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025.
Born Feb. 26, 1951 at Santa Rosa Hospital, he was the son of Joseph and Mary (Blaschke) Narendorf. Ken was a lifelong resident of San Antonio. He attended St. John Bosco Elementary School and Holy Cross High School. Ken received his bachelor in business administration degree from St. Mary’s University in 1976 and began employment at USAA in September 1976.
Ken enjoyed bowling and sports during his years of employment at USAA and made many friends on his bowling league. He enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia, coins, stamps and record albums.
He worked as a customer service representative for over 37½ years, until his retirement in August 2012 following complications from back surgery, which left him bedridden for the remainder of his life. During these later years, he enjoyed playing games on his iPad and watching the news and football, especially any games played by the Buffalo Bills.
Ken loved his family, and his Roman Catholic faith was a very important part of his life. He served as an usher for many years at Little Flower Basilica in San Antonio.
Preceding Ken in death were his parents, Joseph and Mary Narendorf; his brother, Michael Narendorf; and his stepmother, Geraldine (Gersbach) Narendorf.
Rosary and memorial service will take place on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery chapel, located at 17501 Nacogdoches Road, San Antonio, TX 78266.
