Linda Helen Konvicka passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022 at 5:45 a.m. at Schulenburg Regency Nursing Center. She reached the age of 93 years, 1 month, 20 days.
Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Moravia. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers were nephews Perry Deem, Franklin Konvicka Jr. and Jeff Holmes; grandson- in-law Aaron Quintero; and grandson Wes Neskora. Eulogist was Wes Neskora.
Rosary was said on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022 at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Moravia prior to Mass.
Born on Oct. 24, 1929 in Moravia, she was the daughter of August and Rosie (Barborak) Konvicka. She attended Moravia School. On April 24, 1954, she married Matthew Nick Konvicka at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Moravia. She was a housewife and member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Kay Neskora of Moravia; two sisters, Arlene Holmes and Vernell Shanks, both of Moravia; a sister-in-law, Donna Konvicka of Houston; two grandchildren, Jennifer Quintero and Wes Neskora; and a great-grandchild, Johnny Quintero.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; a sister, Loraine Deem; and brother, Franklin Konvicka.
Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
