Marion J. Kiker

Marion J. Kiker was born Sept. 8, 1933 in Bremen, Germany to Kathe and Georg Bartels. While in Germany Marion was an accomplished ballerina, before she and her parents came to America in 1953. All three proudly became American citizens shortly thereafter.

Marion passed away of natural causes, peacefully at home on Sunday, March 13, surrounded by family.

Marion was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband W. Harold Kiker in 2010, a son Don (age 15) in 1975, and her sister Gisela Zeidler (Rudy).

She is survived by her three daughters, Giselle Oravec (Mike), Sheila Goss, and Cynthia Cherry (Manuel Martinez); and her grandchildren Chesney Oravec, Brittany Oravec, Zachary Oravec (Maddy), Elizabeth Goss, Amanda Goss, and Jason Martinez (Holly). Marion is also survived by her niece, Anke Zeidler, and nephew, Jens Zeidler, both of Germany. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Bianca Sheldon, Ashton Martinez and Alexis Martinez.

Marion was as loved in life as one could be, and she is already missed dearly.
