Marjorie Ann Bohlmann

Marjorie Ann Bohlmann, 83, passed away at Schulenburg Regency Nursing Center on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020.

Funeral Mass was held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Monday, Oct. 19, 2020 at 1 p.m., with Fr. Felix Twumasi officiating. Interment took place in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeff Machac, nephew; Dennis Jurek, cousin; Michael Machac, nephew; John Kana, family friend; Jackie Machac, cousin; and David Machac, cousin.

Rosary was led by Fr. Twumasi at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the church.

Born in Schulenburg on May 20, 1937, she was the daughter of Ann (Jurek) Mize and Edward Machac. She attended Schulenburg High School. On June 9, 1963, she married Gus Edward Bohlmann at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. A lifelong resident of Schulenburg, she worked in school administration at Schulenburg ISD and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer (Bohlmann) Moore of Galveston; a son, Rick Bohlmann of Schulenburg; and three grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Edward Machac and Ann (Jurek) Mize; husband, Gus Bohlmann; and a brother, Marvin Machac.

Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
