Funeral services for Mary Ann Kutac, 79, of Schulenburg, were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia. The family received friends beginning at 9:30 a.m., with the parish rosary recited at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Flatonia.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Ernest Kutac; daughter, Susan Kalina and husband Jason; daughter-in-law, Wanda Kutac; and grandchildren, Vanessa Kutac, Hope Kalina and Jacob Kalina.
She was preceded in death by her son, Sammy Kutac; infant granddaughter, Sierra Kalina; and her parents, Arthur and Annie Beiersdoerfer.
Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter, Hospice of South Texas, or a charity of one’s choice.
