Regina Patricia Kleihege, 90, of Shiner, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
Regina was born March 6, 1931 in Praha to Anna (Greive) Okruhlik and Joseph V. Okruhlik and attended school in Praha. On April 26, 1954, she married Willibald Kleihege at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Praha. Regina was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Altar Society, KJZT, Catholic Daughters of the Americas and was a homemaker and seamstress, sewing for many weddings and school functions.
Regina is survived by sons, Marcel Kleihege and Timothy Kleihege of Shiner; daughter, Eustacia Kleihege of McKinney; brother-in-law, Arnold Kleihege (Earleen); sister-in-law, Agnes Okruhlik; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Regina was preceded in death by her husband, Willibald Kleihege; parents; and brother, Boniface Okruhlik.
Visitation began at 2 p.m. and continued until 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 13 at Smith Funeral Home in Moulton. Rosary was recited at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 14 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moulton. Fr. Gabriel Maison officiated. Burial followed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Moulton. Pallbearers were Randy Dierschke, Raymond Michalec, Don Kleihege, Michael Kleihege, Kenneth Gast and Darrell Gast.
