1941 - 2023 Sister Louise Miksch, CDP, (also known as Sister Henry Louise or Earline Louise) entered eternal life on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the age of 81. She was the fifth of 14 children of Henry and Louise (Lobpries) Miksch, born on Nov. 5, 1941 in Schulenburg.

Mary Ann Fajkus Kokes, 89, passed away on Friday, July 7 in her home in Houston. She was born Oct. 28, 1933 in Praha, daughter of the late Adolph Fajkus Sr. and Agnes(Bily) Fajkus. She was united in marriage with Joseph A. Kokes in Praha on May 6, 1957.

Ovella Marie Stuchly

Ovella Marie Stuchly, 91, passed away Monday, June 3 at Schulenburg Regency Nursing Center. Born in High Hill, Ovella was the daughter of Rudolph and Annie Hilscher. She attended Middle Creek School, and later, graduated from Schulenburg High School in 1951.
