Oct. 1, 1934 - Aug. 14, 2023 Margaret Marie (Miksch) Pavlicek, 88, of Schulenburg passed away on Monday, Aug. 14. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 21 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Rev. Dalton Ervin officiating and Monsignor Timothy Kosler assisting.

Gilbert Zimmermann, 89, of Georgetown TX, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023, in Georgetown surrounded by his loving children. He was born on March 25, 1934, to John and Annie Zimmermann in the farming community of Swiss Alp near Schulenburg.

Dec. 3, 1935 - July 21, 2023 David R. Raabe was the eighth of 11 children of William and Louise (Tipp) Raabe, born at the family farm on Dec. 3, 1935. He attended Weimar ISD. In high school, he lettered in football, basketball, baseball and track, and was a member of the FFA.

Eric Wilhelm Keilbach passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023 after a brief illness. He was born Jan. 12, 1965 in Ithaca, New York and was the eldest son of Donna and Karl Keilbach. He spent his younger years growing up amongst his many aunts and uncles in Lansing, New York.

1941 - 2023 Sister Louise Miksch, CDP, (also known as Sister Henry Louise or Earline Louise) entered eternal life on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the age of 81. She was the fifth of 14 children of Henry and Louise (Lobpries) Miksch, born on Nov. 5, 1941 in Schulenburg.

Kassie Annell Riha was born on March 11, 1971, in Wharton, to loving parents Michael and Mary Riha of Weimar. On July 24, 2023, their hearts were filled with sorrow at the loss of their beloved daughter, sister and friend. Kassie was a talented chef, a master in the kitchen, and an artist at heart.
