Allison Anne Abendroth and Mason Benjamin Florus will be united in holy matrimony on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in High Hill.
Allison, a Leander native, is the daughter of Mark and Vivian Abendroth of Leander and the granddaughter of the late Bert R. And Frances Abendroth of Pasadena and late Felix and Mary Alice Garza of Ganado. Mason, a Schulenburg native, is the son of Darren and Ann Florus of Schulenburg and the grandson of George Berckenhoff and the late Eileen Berckenhoff of Freyburg and the late Ben Florus of Flatonia and the late Annie Jo and Joe Krischke of Schulenburg.
Allison graduated from Leander High School in 2011, then UTSA in 2014 and then earned her master’s degree from Texas Tech University in 2017 and currently works as an occupational therapist. A 2011 graduate of Schulenburg High School, Mason graduated from Texas State University in 2015 and earned his master’s degree from Texas State in 2018. He has worked at the City of Schulenburg since 2019 and currently serves as city secretary.
