The Schulenburg Garden Club met on Tuesday, Jan. 2, and president Bonnie Baker welcomed members, guest speaker Andy Behlen and two guests.
The group recited the Garden Club Prayer and enjoyed a “Paris in the Springtime” luncheon. The serving table was decked out with mixed greens and romaine lettuce salads. Delicious homemade chili was served at each table by the chef, C.W Leonard. There were four desserts consisting of a pecan pie, layered strawberry cake, and pineapple and pecan crunch cakes.
Hostesses were Jerry Leonard, Gail Hammontree and Billie Rightmer.
