Hallettsville Market Days
Hallettsville Market Days will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hallettsville KC Hall (rain or shine).
There will be a mix of indoor, covered pavilion and tree-lined shopping. Weimar KCs Chicken Fried Steak Dinner
Weimar Knights of Columbus Council 2153 will serve a drive-thru-only chicken fried steak dinner (includes sides) on Sunday, Aug. 21 from 10:30 a.m. until sold out at the St. Michael Catholic Church Family Center in Weimar. Cost is $12 per plate. Proceeds will benefit Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church-Hostyn Building Fund.
Schulenburg KC Grilled ‘Moo & Cluck’ Dinner
The Schulenburg Knights of Columbus will have a drive-thru grilled “Moo & Cluck” dinner on Sunday, Aug. 28 at the KC Hall starting at 10:30 a.m. or when food is ready. The plates ($12 each) will include a grilled hamburger steak and chicken breast, brown gravy, vegetable chicken flavored rice, cheesy broccoli/caulifloweer blend and peaches. Reservations are not necessary.
