KCs Annual Barbecue Chicken Dinner
The Knights of Columbus will hold their annual barbecue chicken dinner on Sunday, Jan. 14 at the Schulenburg Hall starting at 10:30 a.m. or when the food is ready to be served. The drive-thru-only plates ($12 each) will include a half barbecue chicken, buttered potatoes, pinto beans and pickle.
In addition, the South Texas Blood Bank will have a blood drive from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jan. 14 in the Schulenburg Hall parking lot. Each donor will get a free meal provided by the KCs and other goodies. For more information, contact Ed Kusy at 979-743-5879.
Round Top Family Library Chili Cookoff
A chili cookoff benefitting the Round Top Family Library will be held on Sunday, Jan. 14 at noon at the Round Top Rifle Hall. There will also be music by Black Cat Choir. Tickets are $10, with children under 12 admitted free.
