Round Top Music Festival Performances
The 2025 Round Top Music Festival continues with performances in the Festival Concert Hall. The schedule had young artists chamber groups performing on Tuesday, July 8 and Wednesday, July 9 at 7 p.m.
Friday, July 11 will feature the Best of 2025 chamber music groups, with the culmination showcase of juried selections.
Saturday, July 12 concerts will include a percussion showcase by the 2025 young artists percussion section at 1:30 p.m. and closing chamber music concert featuring selections from Mozart, Schulhoff and Bach at 3:30 p.m. The closing orchestra concert at 7:30 p.m. will feature the works of Rachmaninoff and Mahler, with Carl St. Clair as conductor and James Dick on piano.

Schulenburg Knights of Columbus BBQ Pork Steak Dinner
The Schulenburg KCs will serve a drive-thru-only barbecue pork steak dinner on Sunday, July 13 from 10:30 a.m. until sold out at the Schulenburg KC Hall. The plates ($15 each) will include a 14- to 16-ounce pork steak, giblet rice, black-eyed peas and coleslaw. Reservations are not necessary.
Ascension Parish Picnic in Moravia
Ascension Parish will hold its picnic on Sunday, July 20 on the parish grounds in Moravia. A stew/fried chicken meal with trimmings will be served starting at 11 a.m. All plates will be $14. Drive-thru plates-to-go will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Music day and night will be furnished by Mark Halata & Texavia and The Fender BenderBand. An auction will start at 1 p.m. There will also be a cake walk opening at noon, bingo from 1 to 5 p.m., country store, games, water fun, hamburgers, refreshments, entertainment, etc.
