LEGION & AUXILIARY
American Legion McBride Post 143 and Auxiliary will hold their Christmas party on Tuesday, Dec. 7 at the Legion Home in Wolters Park with a social at 6 p.m. and meal and awards presentation at 7 p.m. Dress is casual with Legionnaire cap.
The Christmas party is free for all current members of the American Legion, Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion, widows of American Legion members and Legion Riders and their spouses. Single members may bring a single guest. All others will be charged $10 a plate.
Those attending are asked to bring non-perishable food items or an unwrapped gift for a child ages 1-6.
Members must call James Hatfield at 979-561-8476 (home) or 979-561-6562 (cell) to reserve meals. Deadline for notification is Saturday, Dec. 1.
Hermann Sons Life
Hermann Sons Life will meet Wednesday, Dec. 8 at Oakridge Restaurant at 5 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m.
Members are asked to bring a $10 prize for the drawing. To make reservations, call Junette at 979-743-0623 by Friday, Dec. 3.
