Fayette County Czech Heritage Society holds Piknik
Scholarship – Duke Sodek, Fayette County Czech Heritage Society scholarship recipient, receives a $500 check from CHS president Betty Danner.
The Fayette County Czech Heritage Society (CHS) met on Tuesday, June 11 in the Hanslik Hall at the Texas Czech Heritage & Cultural Center in La Grange for its annual Piknik.
Members and guests enjoyed visiting and singing Czech songs while Jimmy Fucik accompanied them on the accordion. A meal of sausage wraps, sides and desserts followed the entertainment.
