    A silent auction with donated items was held at the Nov. 13 meeting of the Fayette County Retired Teachers Association to benefit the TRTA Foundation.

    The Fayette County Retired Teachers’ Association met on Monday, Nov. 13 at the Fellowship Hall of the New Life Methodist Church (formerly First United Methodist Church) in La Grange, with 19 in attendance.

    Refreshments were provided by Lisa Slinkard and the executive officers.

    The business portion of the meeting included distribution of a list of additions/corrections to FCRTA yearbook 2023-24 (distributed at the September meeting) and the treasurer’s report, which included a budget proposal, FCRTA, 2023-24. The September minutes and treasurer’s report were accepted.
