The St. Patrick’s Day program was given at the La Grange Opera House, located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Franklin and Colorado streets, where the city hall now stands. The front area along Franklin Street was a library and meeting room. The stage area was at the back of the building, with the audience seated in between on both the ground floor and on a large horseshoeshaped gallery or balcony overhead.
