The Schulenburg Garden Club is set to begin its 2025-26 season with its first meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at First Baptist Church, 110 Upton Ave., in Schulenburg.
Founded in 1938, the club has a long-standing tradition of fostering a love of gardening, promoting local beautification, and offering educational programs that inspire green thumbs of all skill levels.
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month from September through May, and each gathering features a luncheon followed by a garden-related program.
The September meeting will feature locally grown potted plants as door prizes.
New members and guests are always welcome to attend and learn more about gardening, landscaping and environmental stewardship in a friendly, community-oriented setting.
For more information about the club or to inquire about membership, please contact a current member or stop by the upcoming meeting.
Whether a seasoned gardener or just getting started, the Schulenburg Garden Club is a blooming opportunity to grow and connect. Visit its Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ search/posts?q=schulenburg%20 garden%20club to see some of the fun activities.
