Historic smokehouse demonstrations will be given at the Kreische House during Easter on the Bluff.
Young visitors race to find eggs hidden throughout the grounds during a previous Easter on the Bluff at Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill State Historic Sites.
Two egg hunts will be featured at Easter on the Bluff. The first will be at 5:30 p.m. in the yard of the Kreische House for children age 4 and under. The second will be at 6 p.m. for ages 5-12 and will take place across the grounds.
“Oh boy, did we hunt Easter Eggs up there,” longtime La Grange resident Verna Reichert recalled of childhood visits to the Bluff.
