The Schulenburg Literary Club met on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at noon in the Schulenburg Public Library.
In the meeting room that was festively decorated in fall colors with a Thanksgiving motif, a delicious luncheon of chicken spaghetti, broccoli salad, ambrosia salad and garlic breadsticks was served along with zucchini cake and cranberry cake for dessert. Hostesses were Ginni Berwick, Ona Marak, Kathleen Svatek and Clarice Vecera.
Following the meal, special guest Gary McKee, Schulenburg native and local historian, was introduced by vice president Nina Howard.
