West Navidad Wildlife Management Association
The West Navidad Wildlife Management Association will hold its spring meeting on Saturday, April 13 at the Rockin W sale barn on Highway 77 north of Schulenburg.
A social will be held from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by a meal of beef tips, mashed potatoes and gravy from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring sides and/or dessert. Soft drinks, tea and water will be provided but other refreshments are BYOB.
The program will begin at 6:30 p.m., business meeting at 7 p.m. and silent auction/drawing at 7:45 p.m. Item(s) for the latter should be brought to help support the scholarship fund.
Members are asked to please invite a friend or neighbor in the cooperative area!.
Members are reminded that dues for 2024 are payable ASAP and checks made to “West Navidad Wildlife Management Association” can be mailed to Jeanette Stavinoha, 2916 Bruno Road, Schulenburg, TX 78956, or brought to the meeting.
FAYETTE COUNTY REPUBLICAN WOMEN
The Fayette County Republican Women will hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday, April 17 at Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club, 575 Country Club Dr. in La Grange, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Check-in will begin at 10:45 a.m. with an option to purchase lunch for $20 inclusive, payable by cash or check.

Vietnam Veterans of America
Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 870 will meet on Wednesday, April 17 at 7 p.m. the Ammannsville KJT Hall in Ammannsville.
Food and refreshments will be provided at the meeting. VVA, AVVA and prospective members are invited to attend.
