Fayette County Republican Women
The public is invited to attend the Fayette County Republican Women general meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club, 575 Country Club Drive in La Grange.
Lunch is available for $20. Guest speaker will be Stephanie Holderfield, executive director of Citizens Defending Freedom.
Citizens Defending Freedom is an organization that empowers and equips American citizens to defend their freedoms and liberties at the local level. By streamlining and simplifying activism, they support and champion American citizens who want to stand up for their independence. The organization has been successful in getting conservative school board members elected in several schools in the Houston area, among other grassroots efforts. Holderfield served in the Trump Administration from 2017-2020 as Chief of Staff for Customs & Border Protection, Chief of Staff for Rural Business Cooperative and Senior Advisor of the Department of Housing & Urban Development under Secretary Ben Carson’s leadership.

Vietnam Veterans
Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 870 will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. the Ammannsville KJT Hall in Ammannsville. Food and refreshments will be provided at the meeting.
