Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 870 has set a meeting for Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Ammannsville KJT Hall. Food and refreshments will be provided. VVA, AVVA and prospective members are invited.
Lions Club
The Schulenburg Lions Club will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 11:45 a.m. at the Schulenburg Public Library. The program will be on CASA of Bastrop, Fayette and Lee Counties.
Swiss Alp/Ammannsville/ Dubina Farm Bureau
The Swiss Alp/Ammannsville/ Dubina Farm Bureau will meet Tuesday, Oct. 21 at the SAFB building on Highway 77 between La Grange and Schulenburg.
The social will begin at 6 p.m., with a potluck dinner to follow. Precinct 4 Commissioner Drew Brossmann will talk about current county activities and concerns. Members are asked to bring a side, main dish or dessert. Visitors are welcome!
