Fayette County Republican Women
The public is invited to attend the Fayette County Republican Women general meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club, 575 Country Club Drive in La Grange.
Check-in will begin at 10:45 a.m. Lunch is available for $20.
Program speaker will be Nancy White, who will discuss the Texas electric grid and how large battery storage facilities negatively affect communities. She will also address what Texans can do to help ensure they have access to sufficient electricity for the future.

Vietnam Veterans
Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 870 will hold its monthly membership meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at the Ammannsville KJT Hall.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m., with food and beverages provided. All members, including AVVA and prospective members, are invited.
This will be the meeting after the Chapter 870 fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 15.
