Fayette County Retired Teachers Association
The Fayette County Retired Teachers Association will meet Monday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. at the New Life Methodist Church in La Grange.
November is Texas Retired Teachers Foundation Month, and the chapter will be raising money to help not only retired teachers in need, but also to help current educators with classroom and resource materials. Other action items will include planning and implementing the chapter service projects for 2024-25, the THRIVE mentorship program and a supplies drive for the 18+ Program in La Grange ISD.
While the name implies “teachers only,” all retired public school employees are welcome, including those from other districts.
Hermann Sons Life
The Schulenburg Hermann Sons Life meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at Oakridge Restaurant, with social time at 5:30 p.m. and the meal and meeting at 6 p.m.

FAYETTE COUNTY REPUBLICAN WOMEN
The public is invited to attend the Fayette County Republican Women general meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club, 575 Country Club Drive in La Grange.
Lunch is available for $20. Guest speaker will be a representative from Texas Values.
