RETIRED TEACHERS ASSOCIATION
The Fayette County Retired Teachers Association will meet on Monday, Jan. 13 in the Fellowship Hall of the New Life Methodist Church, 1215 Von Minden Road in La Grange, at 1:45 p.m. All retired teachers and school personnel are welcome to attend. Members will be preparing teacher appreciation baskets for Fayette County schools, and are asked to bring goodies and snacks to celebrate these hard-working educators.

The public is invited to attend the Fayette County Republican Women general meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club, 575 Country Club Drive in La Grange. Lunch is available for $20. Guest speaker will be Brett Rogers, who loves helping people succeed – especially helping conservative grassroots candidates succeed at winning elections. As a grassroots activist, he’s done everything: data, marketing, video, graphic design, website, strategy, innovative solutions, block-walking, phones, public speaking, event organization and coordinating volunteers. Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 870 will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. the Ammannsville KJT Hall in Ammannsville. Food and refreshments will be provided at the meeting. VVA, AVVA and prospective members are invited to attend.
