Schulenburg 4-H Club
The Schulenburg 4-H Club will hold its first meeting of the 202324 year on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 4 p.m. at the Blinn Student Center, 100 Ranger Drive, Schulenburg.
Those interested are invited to come cool off with snow cones and see what the 4-H program has to offer.

Fayette County Retired Teachers’ Assn.
The Fayette County Retired Teachers’ Association will meet on Monday, Sept. 11 at the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church, 1215 Von Minden, La Grange.
The social starting at 1:30 p.m. will be a “welcome back!” time complete with Blue Bell ice cream.
A business meeting will follow at 2 p.m., with extensive information to be given on Proposition 9 in the upcoming Nov. 7 election and its impact on retired teachers.
