Young Farmers
The Schulenburg Young Farmers will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. at the SISD Ag Science Building.
FFA officers will be chairmen of the program and the topic will cover the shop show projects and the Schulenburg Junior Livestock Show results.
Fayette County Czech Heritage Society
Fayette County Czech Heritage Society will hold its annual soup social on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 2 p.m. at the Texas Czech Heritage & Cultural Center in La Grange.
Members are asked to bring a big pot of their favorite soup or a snack/dessert to share. Dawn Orsak, author of a soon-to-be released Czech Cookbook, will be the guest speaker. Attendees can also bring their family recipes to share with her. New potential members and/or guests are invited to attend. Vítáme Vás!
