Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 870, will meet on Wednesday, July 17 at 7 p.m. at the Ammannsville KJT Hall.
Food and refreshments will be provided at the meeting.
VVA, AVVA and prospective members are invited to attend.
Fayette Electric
Fayette Electric Cooperative’s annual meeting of members will be held on Wednesday, July 17 at the KC Community Center, 190 South Brown St., La Grange.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for registration. Members who register between 5:30 and 7 p.m. will receive a $20 energy credit and have an opportunity to win attendance door prizes. After registering, members can enjoy various games. Children age 10 and under can register for one of five children’s prizes and will also receive a prize when attending with a parent or guardian.
New this year is the “Luck of the Draw” scholarship drawing for high school graduates who applied for an FEC scholarship in 2024 but were not selected.
The business meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Director Gale Lincke (District 3) and director Leo Henke (District 4) are up for re-election. The winners of the CoBank Sharing Success Grant Program will also be announced.
The July issue of Texas Co-op Power magazine contains the Annual Report and registration card. Members are encouraged to bring their registration card and official door prize ticket.
