Salem Memorial Cemetery Association
The Salem Memorial Cemetery Association will have the annual meeting and memorial services on Sunday, April 3 at 2 p.m. at the cemetery pavilion.
Pastor Lemae Higgs will deliver the memorial message.
Retired Teachers’ Assn.
The Fayette County Retired Teachers’ Association will have a field trip on Monday, April 4 at the Heroes Museum , 171 S. Main St., La Grange, starting at 10 a.m., followed by lunch at Reba’s.
Those planning to stay for lunch are asked to contact Kathy Migl (979-966-3079 or kmigl2000@ yahoo.com) by Friday, April 1.
While the association’s name may imply only teachers, all retired personnel are invited and welcomed, even if from another city, county or state.
LEGION & AUXILIARY
American Legion McBride Post 143 and Auxiliary will hold their next monthly meetings on Tuesday, April 5 at the American Legion Home in beginning at 7 p.m. All members and prospective members are invited to attend.
