To help celebrate National Ag Day, the Navidad Valley Cattle-Women donated 220 pounds of ground beef to area high schools that have food and consumer science or culinary programs. The high schools receiving donations were Hallettsville, Rice Consolidated, Columbus, Flatonia, Schulenburg, Moulton and Round Top-Carmine.
