John C. Landa Jr., “The Schulenbirder,” says that although he recently submitted painted bunting photos, he’s sending two more taken on Sunday morning, June 26 off Wolters Road southwest of Schulenburg.
“By far these are the most striking birds we see here in the summer,” Landa said.
