The lunch-and-learn program in Schulenburg on Monday, Feb. 23 was presented by Josh Vandever. It was nice to learn about his role and responsibilities as the EMS director and how that reflects on his ability to fulfill the Fayette County judge position for which he is running. He also talked about his role in the Fourth of July flood in the Kerrville area.
Sharingahug wereAnnette Jasek and Lee Ehler, who both have been out for a while due to health concerns. Senior Connections is glad to have them back!
The Februrary adventure took members to Serbin and the Texas Wendish Heritage Museum for a lovely tour, and then on to Reba’s in Giddings for lunch. Shown are (from left) Alfreda Ellison, Irma Aschenbeck (behind Ellison), Charles Aschenbeck, Gary Pauler, Cynthia Meyer, Alice Fajkus, Mary Guenther, Betty Helmcamp, Berni Gillings, Mary Ann Jurica, Kitra Ruiz, Cathy Besetzny, Paul Williams, Frank Lafferty, August Kalinec, Debbie Price, Kurt Koch and John Soos.
