Senior Connections: the gathering place for active adults 55-plus
Talented artist and member Janice Collins (left) assembled this gift basket featuring a Texas-shaped mosaic that she created, a bottle of Texas Crown Whiskey and two commemorative glasses. A drawing was held, won by Carolyn Foster (right). The drawing raised $740, with all the funds going to the building capital campaign.
Senior Connections, a senior activity center serving Fayette, Colorado, Lavaca and Gonzales counties, gives older adults welcoming places to gather in Schulenburg, Weimar, Flatonia and La Grange.
