Volunteers recently coordinated a drawing, which included these beautiful decorations created by Matha Beckmann (left), to raise funds for the new Senior Connections building. In the photo at left, she presents one of them to Frank Lafferty, who also won a cross. In the photo at right, Sharon Rodriguez (right) presents the wreath to Katina Thomas. Almost $2,000 was raised through this project.
Senior Connections serves seniors 55 and up in Fayette, Colorado and Lavaca counties, with locations in Schulenburg, Weimar and Flatonia.
