The 48th Krischke reunion was held Sunday, July 19 at St. Mary’s Church parish hall in High Hill. This year marks the 145th anniversary of Josef and Amalia Krischke’s arrival in America.The reunion president welcomed everyone and began announcements shortly before noon.

Showing appreciation for veterans can be more than Memorial Day, 4th of July or Veterans Day – Choke Canyon BBQ proved that on Wednesday, Aug. 26 when more than 100 local veterans gathered at Choke Canyon BBQ to enjoy camaraderie and a free meal.
